Modular Wire Feeding Systems

Cometo AL6 and AL12 feeders are modular wire feeding systems engineered to facilitate the precise pushing or pulling of round or profiled wires, as well as metal strips, in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. These feeders are integral to various industrial applications, including dry drawing lines, molding machines, bending machines, spring-making machines, and wire straightening machines.

Modular Design: Each feeder module comprises an upper and a lower roller, allowing configurations of up to three modules to accommodate specific production requirements. 

Roller Specifications:

• AL6 Model: Features rollers with an external diameter of 65 mm, suitable for materials up to a maximum diameter of 6 mm.
• AL12 Model: Equipped with rollers measuring 122 mm in external diameter, capable of handling materials up to 20 mm in diameter.
• Durable Construction: Roller movement is facilitated by hardened and ground gears, ensuring longevity and consistent performance.
• Versatile Roller Operation: The opening and closing of rollers can be controlled manually via cam, pneumatically, or hydraulically, providing flexibility to meet diverse operational needs.
• Customizable Roller Grooves: Roller grooves are machined post-hardening to achieve a polished finish. Custom groove profiles, including double grooves on a single roller, are available upon request to accommodate various wire diameters without necessitating roller changes.
• Comprehensive Systems: Cometo offers complete systems that integrate motorized feeders, electronic controls, and wire straighteners, delivering a holistic solution for wire handling and processing.
